Newly Launched Real Estate Service Touts Ability for Agents to Take Back Control of MLS Listings

If you’re thought about marketing your Real Estate listings or yourself with video, but haven’t been sure how to start, you may be in luck with a new service that does the heavy lifting and may have already created a profile and video channel for you to share.

Nestbuilder, created by Real Estate digital media company RealBiz Media Group, allows agents to create videos from existing photos, and then add music and voiceover, and share the end result through email or social media.

The company, which has partnered with the National Association of Realtors (NAR), has access to millions of property listings for which it has already created videos. It launched to agents and Realtors this month, and may have already created a profile for you that is waiting to be claimed.

Nestbuilder is framing itself as the agents’ countermove to sites like Trulia and Zillow, which borrowed listings from the MLS and captured millions of users from the agents who paid to have their listings placed in the MLS in the first place.

“We are giving agents access to all of our videos and our offerings so that they can go out and market themselves and capture their leads back,” RealBiz CEO William Kerby said. “We are empowering agents to be more successful in their business.”

Using databases made available to it through partnerships, Nestbuilder has created more than 350,000 profiles and video channels (similar to YouTube channels) for Real Estate agents and brokers nationwide. Agents can claim their profiles, and if theirs doesn’t exist yet, it doesn’t take long to get started. Agents are asked to customize their profile and create a video reel from their listings or ones made available on the site. The final step is to email and share their reels online. Customized dashboards allow them to see which videos are getting the most attention.

The company creates hundreds of thousands of listing videos each day.

“I do not know of another site that does it on the volume that we are doing this one,” Kerby said.

And agents without a listing of their own can still take advantage of the service because a subscription comes with access to all of the listings on Nestbuilder. Agents can select a geographic area and be able to market those listings using their name and brand by representing a buyer.

The cost for the service starts at $10 per month.

“We’re trying to empower the agent to get their own leads back,” RealBiz President and CRO Steve Marques said. “There’s nothing the agent has to do besides record his cameo.”
