The deadline for tech startups wishing to be in the 2014 class of the National Association of Realtors' REach strategic accelerator for tech startups is March 1. The REach accelerator gives technology companies a unique platform on which they can have mentorship from industry executives and potential clients while providing a product or service with a utility for Real Estate use that may appeal to the association's 1 million members.
NAR Chief Executive Officer Dale Stinton has said REach (@narREach) is an opportunity for young companies wishing to be a part of the trillion dollar Real Estate market. The association encourages applications from companies who have technology that is bringing innovation, efficiencies and value to the marketplace and wants a target group to beta test the product and to provide target-customer input. Even those companies that have already participated in other incubator or accelerator programs are urged to apply.
Conor McCluskey, CEO of BombBomb, a video and email marketing program and a member of REach's 2013 class, said that the direct result of the mentoring and potential client access provided by the accelerator to his company was the ability to have Realtors in all 50 states and 25 countries using BombBomb's product within six months.
