ZipRealty Hiring Veterans for Real Estate Positions

April 9th, 2014 – in miscellaneous

ZipRealty, the online residential Real Estate brokerage and industry marketing company, recently partnered with the U.S. Army to assist veterans become Real Estate agents. The partnership, through the Army's Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program, provides a job interview and possible employment.

ZipRealty has increased its hiring and recruiting efforts by 13 percent in the past year, the company reported, and the PaYS program will further those efforts. It will also give ZipRealty access to employees with high professional work habits.

The Army PaYS program partners with companies with 500 or more employees who are interested in offering full-time employment to soldiers who have been honorably discharged from the military. Soldiers opt to participate in the program during their enlistment process and are guaranteed interviews upon the completion of their service. They are matched with jobs that they've received similar training for while in the military.

The Real Estate company made clear that just because more positions will be available to veterans, its doors to other applicants will not begin to shut. ZipRealty provides full-service residential brokerage services in 19 U.S. markets and has a network of third-party brokerages in 20 more.
