Over the last few weeks we’ve been talking a lot about productivity, and introduced a terrific application that makes it possible for Propertybase to integrate right into your Gmail Inbox; Cirrus Insight. We caught up with the Founder and Mastermind of Cirrus Insight, Brandon Bruce, to talk about what makes CI tick, what’s in store for Real Estate professionals, and what we can expect from them in the future. Hint: It’s exciting!
Propertybase: How did you decide the world needed Cirrus Insight?
Brandon: We’ve been using Salesforce and Google Apps for years, and we really wanted the two to work together. They’re also the biggest business cloud platforms in the world, so we set out to build a seamless integration that would provide a lot of value to thousands of organizations.
PB: How does Cirrus Insight work?
B: Cirrus Insight lives in Gmail where it displays relevant Salesforce contact data in real-time. It enables users to interact with Salesforce and easily save information (like emails) back to Salesforce – all in their Gmail workflow. Cirrus Insight is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that installs in a single click from our website. It works with any edition of Salesforce.
PB: Tell us about the best comment/your favourite review on your product you’ve had to date from Cirrus users?
B: Our users truly are the best! Cirrus Insight has received over 240 reviews on the Salesforce AppExchange. One of our favorites is:
“This is a must have app! Cirrus Insight is a huge timesaver and makes entries into Salesforce from Gmail a breeze. Thanks for this extremely helpful tool!”
PB: What do you think Cirrus Insight has to bring to Real Estate and Propertybase customers in particular?
B: Real estate professionals get a lot of important emails from buyers and sellers. Cirrus Insight brings real-time Propertybase information from Salesforce into Gmail. That way, real estate professionals have Propertybase information at their fingertips in the inbox and they can update Propertybase right from Gmail.
PB: What’s on the cards for Cirrus Insight in 2014?
B: We have big plans for 2014. But there’s still plenty of time in 2013 to rollout some big features! In fact, the next planned release will be a boon for real estate professionals. Readers can get the latest news at www.cirrusinsight.com/blog or join us on Twitter @cirrusinsight.
