This week Google announced it’s acquisition of Nest, a service that allows residents to remotely control anything from the thermostat, to blinds, lights and security. While the onset of so-called “smart homes” was inevitable, the Google purchase will undoubtedly speed up the process by which these properties are sold by Real Estate agents and Realtors.
