Team
Meet the people behind Propertybase: Our Team consists of individuals who are experts specifically for the needs of Real Estate Developers as well as Brokers and provide a turn-key solution for your business.

Max-Michael Mayer
Managing Director & Founder
Max provides the laser-like focus you would expect from a German trained in banking: With one eye on the bottom line and the other on the clouds (cloud computing, that is) he steers the company’s sales and marketing divisions through the choppy waters of the software-startup sea.
Somehow in the spare time that we didn’t think he had, Max loves to ride his mountain bike and to go camping and hiking (his favorite National Park is Mt. Rainier) and his neighbors will testify that he even finds time to belt out Van Halen guitar solos on one of his many guitars.

Michael Wenglein
Managing Director & Founder
Without investors, a start-up couldn’t start up, and Mike is our chief rainmaker. Equally important, as IT director he handles the stuff that gave the rest of us headaches in computer science class. With degrees in engineering, science, and business administration, Mike is a triple threat; throw in his wide-ranging IT experience with high-tech, financial, and real-estate firms, and it’s clear that he had no choice but to found Propertybase.
In his spare time, when he’s not blogging about the latest gadgets in digital photography, Mike can be found chasing adrenalin thrills on the track in his race cars.

Alexander Mette
Customer Success Manager
Passion for Real Estate and State of the Art Technology rules the professional life of Alex. As a managing consultant he takes care that our users can get most out of Propertybase by a “real” Professional Service. Before he joined the Propertybase team he was Head of Services at conject.com, Europe’s leading provider for real estate lifecycle management software. His private life is dominated by his two children.

Steve Simmons
Sales Manager
As a former Division I college basketball athlete and team captain, Steve brings his toughness, team spirit and leadership to the front lines of Propertybase. Steve has since taken his eye off the ball in order to stick his head in the Cloud. With a degree in Statistics and a complementing MBA, Steve plays both sides of the court by taking analytical and strategic approaches to each undertaking. He thrives on the international business landscape and is a strong advocate of spanning borders with the SaaS model.
From having rocked on his guitars, to rocking his wife’s world, Steve continues to rock…singing rock a bye to his two daughters.
Paul Simmons
Account Executive
As a sales hunter, Paul enjoys turning over rocks (sales rocks, that is). He uses his tenacity to find decision makers through cold calling and networking. With 15+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development he loves being a G.E.M. for his customers (Going Extra Mile). Paul received a Business Management Degree and Baseball Scholarship from The University of Utah.
In his spare time you can find him and his wife driving their 3 sports-minded kids to practices and games. He enjoys coaching, playing golf, softball and basketball.
Michael Moore
Account Executive
Michael spent the last 12 years in software, telecom and real estate working for firms such as AT&T Wireless, CoStar and Yardi as well as being a landlord representative and commercial asset manager both in a consulting role and in employment. Michael represented owners in large net lease transactions including Chase Bank, Bank of America and T-Mobile, and was operations manager for a major west coast cellular master agent. Having experienced start-ups – both success and failure – Michael brings a diverse and creative skill set to the team. When Michael is not with his wife and daughter he is cycling Mount Diablo or playing hockey at Sharks Ice.
Kyle Murphy
Account Executive
Kyle is a true geek at heart and has always been fascinated with new technology. After getting his start in the real estate industry at companies like LoopNet, CoStar and LandAndFarm.com, he began to see that the future of real estate was technology. It’s only natural that he found his way to Propertybase, where he can indulge his love of working with clients, finding solutions that help them operate more efficiently and close more deals!!
When he’s not spending time with his family, you can find Kyle on the golf course or at a baseball game. Kyle also loves music and sound design so you’ll often find him locked in his studio playing with the latest synthesizer or mixer, making all kinds of noise.
Ricky Fernandez
Account Executive
With over 10 years in the Real Estate Industry in Sales and Finance, Ricky understands the sector and not only talks the talk but walks the walk. He enjoys communicating with prospects and finding the absolute best solution which is tailored to meet their needs. As a California native, he enjoys hiking, exploring the Sierras and all the hidden gems in Northern California by day tripping.

Walker Mattingly
Account Executive
A true competitor at nature, Walker thrives in the fast pace environment of technology sales. Walker is passionate about helping real estate professionals work smarter with better technology, and has built his career around it.
When he’s not prospecting and consulting clients, he likes to explore the beautiful back country of California. You may also find him lacing up his rugby boots for a quick game of footy.

James A. Ibañez
Customer Success Analyst
Straight out of tropical Puerto Rico and after finishing his engineering studies, James decided to jump into a new world and moved to Germany. He has always had a great affinity for technology and when the opportunity appeared to join the team, he jumped right in without any doubt. Solving problems has always been a part of James’s mentality and joining the support team was a great chance to pursue this. With his analytical and social skills he is ready for anything thrown at him. During his free time, James loves to play football (soccer… depending where your from), learn languages and be adventurous any moment he can.
Justin Barker
Customer Success Specialist
Profile will be added soon.

Konstantin Krauss
Head of Development
Born in Munich, Konstantin worked with computers, since he could reach the keyboard on his dad’s desk. During his Computer Science studies he discovered his love to entrepreneurship and startups. He won a national business contest by selling the clothes of fashion students online, co-founded one of Germanys biggest online gaming companies and finally sold Max and Mike their first Propertybase company Macbooks. Not without consequences for his career…
In his free time Konstantin tries to read people’s minds as a hobby magician and savors every free minute in the summer by sailing on this high speed Int14 sailing boat.

Cameron Hemphill
Account Executive
Cameron started his Real Estate career at a young age of 19. He soon became one of the leading agents at a very successful Real Estate Team at Coldwell Banker Utah. While trying to scale his business he realized that having the best technology was the key component to separating himself from the pack. He soon found that CRM was his true passion! He enjoys engaging with customers to find unique solutions to help scaling their business to top peak performance. Cameron has been implementing Real Estate CRM solutions for 8 years to the top Real Estate Brokers all over the globe.
As a Salt Lake City native you will find him on the golf course in the summer and up on the slopes in the winter!

Anthony Parry
Customer Success Manager
Anthony received his license to practice real estate back in 2004 and quickly became a key player in the Real Estate CRM space. He studied Business Administration at the University of Utah where he further honed his skills to bring the two worlds together. Enter his ability to implement great technology across any sized business and you have a triple threat that makes sure our customers succeed. Anthony brings his leadership and project management skills to our Customer Success Team to make sure things get done. He has a passion for the outdoors where you will find him snowboarding, fishing, hiking or camping with his family and friends.
Christian Schultheiss
GIS/Spatial Development
He could have chosen to become a jazz pianist, but decided to follow his scientific ambitions and went to the university instead. Currently completing his Master’s degree in geographical sciences, he has a profound knowledge of geostatistics as well as geographical information systems. He enjoys getting creative with HTML/CSS and works wonders with Ruby on Rails, especially everything spatial-related.
In his spare time, Christian has discovered sailing to be an ideal combination of his professional and athletic sides. He can also be seen trying to improve his back-hand on the squash court or torturing his piano with chord progressions and licks.
Marko Tomic
Developer
After finishing his studies in the field of Software Engineering in his home town of Serbia, Marko worked at Webcom where he fine tuned his skills and learned how develop software in a team environment. During that time, Marko specialized in .Net platforms along with MS SQL Server. However, he refuses to attach himself to only one platform and is proficient and comfortable on .NET, Java or Force.com.
Marko’s biggest passion happens to be cars which, fortunately for us, led him to Germany where he says “they make them the best!” In his spare time, besides obsessing over cars, he enjoys a variety of outdoor sports. If it’s snowing you’ll find on top of a mountain snowboarding or if it’s sunny he’ll be playing basketball or football. But if it’s raining, he’ll probably be playing his guitar.

Maximilian Haack
Developer
Max is a computer scientist by education and a developer by heart. He loves hacking on fun projects just as much as solving complex problems with simple solutions. His favourite programming language is ruby, although he advocates choosing the right tool for the job – so you might even see him coding in C. He is infamously known for his attention to detail and almost always wearing “funny” tshirts.
When not in front of his vim session, he spends his time riding motorbikes, traveling the world, reading science fiction novels, listening to electronic music or enjoying a fine whisky.

Thomas Rudolf
Developer
Already as a teenager, when his parents acquired their first computer, Thomas
started to tear it apart, play with its hardware and wrote his first Basic and Pascal programs. Following this passion until it was time to pick a major for his college education, he then decided to go after his second passion – audio engineering – and studied recording arts. After working as a freelancer in the field of cinema post production for a couple of years he returned to his first virtue and studied computer science to then work as a software developer with a focus on web applications. Ruby and Backbone now have become his tools of choice, but in his spare time he still loves to sit down in his home studio and work on some experimental tunes. He believes that those two worlds can inspire each other: music at some point is algorithms, code at some point is harmoy.
